Before there was a World Wide Web, the Internet was a very useful tool that permitted files to be transferred from computer to computer around the world. But it was a boring, lifeless existence. The incredible growth in Internet use in just a few years was brought about by the creation of the World Wide Web which allows pages of text and graphics to be created and viewed online. Images are essential in making a website useful, interesting and attractive.

Images can created by drawing (though sophisticated graphics programs have redefined the meaning of "drawing"), electronic scanning of existing images, and by photography. Rocky Mountain Web Artistry uses all of these to bring websites to life. Among our tools is an Olympus digital camera which makes capturing the images you want—of your products, office, employees...whatever...quick and easy.

When this site was being designed, we went down the street to snap the picture of the Rocky Mountains at the top of these pages, cropped and adjusted it in a top quality image program, and added it to this site before a cup of coffee could get cold.
